Default 43lb buffalo(?) on percy priest, seven points

Went this morning to seven points on percy priest with my friend and gym instructor Blake for fishing; Blake fought a 36+" 43lb monster buffalo for quite some time and landed it to the shore; it sure was a workout. I will post picture later, it's on my Blackberry. He sure did have fun, and is probably going to extend his one day license to a one year license.

I looked at last years record buffalo from seven points which was 62lbs. This one we caught looks very similar, so i think it's a buffalo. Does a 43 lb 36+ inch buffalo qualify for TARP?

what did he catch it on? minnnow or cricket i would assume. Are they fairly numerous down there. I caught one about 20+ lbs on a pearl curly tail fishing the raceway of the center hill damn a couple yrs ago .. I thought i had a 10lb brown or a big walleye on .. especially with 3 generators going. pretty fun to catch though.

Unfortunately, there is not a TARP category for buffalo.

That's a huge fish though. Very cool.

Here are the pics.
We were fishing with suspended shiners. I dont think buffalos feed on them. The hook got on to one of the fins.

I would like to see a few more fish put in the tarp program, shame to catch a fish of that size and get no recognition, especially since the drum is in it, heck of a fish
