Default Dale Hollow

The trolling bite on Dale is on. The surface temps are around 63. The lake is above flood stage and the highest I've ever seen. The fishing is great but a lot of work with all the bebris. Smallies have finished spawning for the most part. They're fat and pulling hard. The trout are becoming more active. The channel cats are pulling hard and great for the table. Pound for pound they might give the hardest fight in the lake. Here are a few from the weekend... http://trolldhl.com

I'm heading there Friday to fish thru to Sunday. Never fished there before, can you give a few pointers? Are you using downriggers?

What's your poison CountryBoy? I troll but there is plenty of ways to contact fish in Dale right now. What part of the lake will you be fishing? I do use down riggers but they are not necessary. If you go to my web site and get my number, give me a call and I'll try and send you in the right direction. Dale is famous for serving up humble pie so pay your dues (time on the water) and you'll be fine... Dave
