Default What kind of line?

Hey I wondering what type of line can i use for top water froggin down to texas rigging plastics?

Topwater -mono works best because it is the only one that floats but if you have a good frog that floats well and are fishing in junk you could definitely get by with braid.

Crankbaits use fluoro due to it being heavier than water and adds to you cranks depth. Mono will have the reverse effect.

T-rigged plastics- if fishing around cover and rocks braid out performs due to it being tougher than the others.


All that said we had whole topic on line here a while back. Everyone prefers something a little different from someone else. I always change mine back and forth.

For a long time there wasn't all the options and people still caught fish.
