Question Reelfoot Lake

I have never fished Reelfoot and have been thinking about going at the end of March.

Anyone have any tips on where to stay and what packages would be best there, it will be 2-3 guys staying a week.

Use their guides and or rent their boats. Do not use yours. I learned the hard way.. !! TK

Looks like cypress resort is gone. turned into rubble. They had great food and view. I rented a house from the Capps. We used our own bass boats. If the water is low idle speed only. Bass boats have a hard time there. I'll never take mine there again. I have been there 2 or three times. Crappie fishing sucked for us. Real bad weather the first time and sever cold front the second time. We did catch some very nice gills in prespawn the last trip there. I would suggest getting a guide and getting one of the available boats unless you have access to an aluminum boat. Since the tornado went thru it might be hard to find a place to stay. Of course we will expect a detailed report when you get back. this is where we stayed. https://boyettesresort.com/lodging/
