Old Hickory Lake fishing report

The past week at lock 3 has been slow but we are catching some fish on my stinger baits that I make. Live bait like minnows are catching yellow belly bass on the bottom drifting. Also we been fishing at bluegrass marina for crappie and tilapia. The crappie are on the small side and we found no tilapia yet. we caught lots of blue gills , river shiners on stinger baits around the marina.

Thanks Woody for a good report! I hope to try crappie fishing this winter if I don't wimp out for the cold!

All the Crappie I'm finding are in 12 foot of water on brush piles.
