Default Old Hickory trolling for Crappie

I was on the water out of Shutes branch about 6 AM this morning. Decided to bass fish in the grass for about an hour, without a bite I decided to start trolling for some crappie. Found an underwater point about 20-25 feet deep ended up with only four crappie but nice sized. I was marking some bait and the crappie that hit inhaled the crankbait. Water temp was 80-82. Had to leave early for some family things but glad I got out for a short time. It’s the time of year when I troll quite a bit for Crappie on JPP, generally they’re easier to find there.
