Default Rockfish!!

I had one of the best days in my life for stripers. Hooked 6 and caught 5.
All over 20lbs. Swear 2 over 30lbs. All caught within 90mins.
In the inky darkness, alone, nearly spooled 5 times, bruised knee, wet, exhausted. What a wonderful time it was. I'd do it again in a hearbeat.

Here are three photos. Hogs!!!!

Me and my son were at that exact spot on Saturday, just white bass for us though.
Great work man

Default Bait

It was not topwater and in the inky darkness would not have seen it anyway.
Sometime miracles happen. Just glad to be there.
Though I agree. I caught a 28lbs fish on topwater at steam plant once. Looked like a Volkswagen bug had dropped into the channel. Heart attach city!!!

I live in Portland. If I hadn't taken vacation recently I'd take off and take you!
I'm addicted now. Well, always been. Just more acute now...

Very nice fish!.I have wanted to catch a striper but have not done so yet;if they fight like white bass they have to be a handful to land one.
