Default Jpp 9/6

We fished JPP last night. It was a little cool but the fish were biting pretty good. The fish were schooled up on points pretty good and we caught plenty just fishing down the bank. No surprise, but being around bait was key. I caught all of my fish on a 3 inch grub in blue craw. These were my best 2.

Nice fish! I haven't been out since late July and plan to get out this weekend. What was the surface temperature?

Thanks. Water temps were 76-78. All the fish we caught were 1-10 fow.

Yes I did. I still have a couple of things to iron out with this motor. It runs great but I think it's getting a little too much oil. Every time I've tried to start it cold it has started immediately. But two times on the lake it has not wanted to start after shutting down and fishing for a couple hours. Both times lights and livewells have been running during this period. I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe the battery? The battery is less than a year old. If it doesn't sit long on the water then it fires right up. Always has fired right up when getting to the lake.
