Glad we got on the fish. I'm surprised the fishing was as good as it was considering the weather. It was definitely a good day! We'll have to do it again soon.

It was good place to fish and get out of the wind!! That's the only reason we went in there. Turned out to be pretty good. I'm assuming there was a tournament that day or they were practicing, because boats would come in, pitch the usual spots and then leave. They didn't spend anytime in there.

The Ray Scott ABA National Championship was going on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Top 25 that made the cut).

So, on the website, it says 39.45 was winning weight. I hope that's not for 3 days!!! If that's the case, I'm a better fisherman than I thought!!

They only get to weigh 5 fish per day, not 10, 15 or 20.

20lbs bags are impressive just about anywhere. Old hick has been in the 20lbs/day to win range for a few years now. During the peak times I've seen 25-27 lb averages on old hickory.
