Default Old Hickory 02/23/17

I spent the day on the water fishing Station Camp Creek and Cedar Creek. Ended up catching 8 bass, only 2 keepers. It was slow!!

The big ones are in the deeper water still.

Slow is right. I fished Shutes Landing area today and caught one 14" bass and this big ol' TN redfish ... er I mean drum. It was a good fight though!

Try trolling a #5 shad rap , it works great on them.

Last year, the drum eluded me for some reason.

This year has been stellar so far. They are gorging on jerkbaits. The bass, no so much.
