Default JPP Sunday

Put in at Jefferson Springs about 8:30 and ran down lake a little. Lots of people fishing in the nice weather. Spider rigged minnows in deep water till 1:00. Managed to catch 20 Crappie with 13 keepers, 1 White , and 3 Hybrid. Not to bad for all the boat traffic.

That part of the lake is like I-24 at rush hour in the spring time! Sounds like you had a good day though.

Fished around 10-15 FOW on the maiden voyage with our canoe. We tried fishing open lake but with all of those bass boats it's kinda hard. Some of them don't have a bit of decency flying all over the lake with their wake pushing you into rocks. Managed to get in a cove and fished a channel marker (that's what I think those buoys are for) and got constant fish markers on the fish finder but all we managed was two or three bluegill. We were fishing with pink and chartreuse trout magnets tipped with night crawler.
