Steam plant Saturday

Deezltek and I got to the steam plant Saturday morning before daybreak and thought we'd be the first ones there. Wrong!! A kayak and two boats had beat us. So, we got in where we fit in. Couple guys throwing top, couple throwing swimbaits. I threw hair jigs with paddle tail trailers and curly tail trailers. No hits. There was no top water action, no bait being busted...NOTHING.

Deezltek starts throwing an A rig and is getting smacked but no hits. Finally hooks up with a nice white bass. Then downsizes his swim baits and catches another white bass and a crappie. I threw an A rig for a little bit and caught a small striper.

We pull off the barrier and go looking for tilapia. Found a few but caught more little bluegill and little stripe and yellow bass. Hell could of been white bass for all I know. Lol. Probably caught 200 of them little boogers sitting in one spot. Got done with that and bass fished for about 30 minutes before leaving and caught two. Both were keeper size. All in all we had a great day. had to long arm that one to try and make it look like something!!! Lol
I love catching these tatted up bass!!

It's was a blast bro... we had to set some kind of record.. 200 fish on 3 nightcrawlers... 😆😆

They may be small but those "yellow bass, white bass, and small striper" are fun as heck to catch.

No kidding. We'd catch 20 fish on one little 3/8" of cut nightcrawler. It was awesome

you guys did good at least your getting out there been looking for a good boat. just nothing seems to grab my interest on craigslist LOL have fun and good fishing
