Default Center Hill & Pickwick report from weekend

I was humbled! Stuck a couple nice fish on Center Hill on a buzz bait on Friday morning. I didn't start until around 9:00 and wish I had started at sunrise. There were big fish busting bait off of the main lake. No action in the back of Holmes Creek. Lost two jig fishing midday.

Hit Pickwick on Saturday and had two good blow-ups on a buzz bait well before sunrise in front of where I launched at MacFarland marina. I thought I was going to crush them! I zeroed. The white bass and 10-15 pound stripers really put on a show just below the dam. I am going to buy a sonar unit, spend a day or two idling midlake ledges and get my vengeance this summer.

Until then, I'm ready for generation on the Caney!

Default Caney

Pray for rain.

Caney had an algae bloom and glowed lime green at the pond and down river on Friday and Sunday.
Saw some absolute hogs down from the dam- Brown-zillas.

Caught lots of stockers no real big fish.
Browns still in spawn but winding down.

Without some serious rain, we will see no generation on the weekends.
Great falls is turned off and nearly winter pool and dropping with no generation.
Center Hill generating during the week 9AM-11AM only and dropping more and more.

Again, pray for rain.
