Didn't get out til 10am, action was slow, but I was catching a few bluegills. Then I pulled out my flyrod and really started catching bluegills. Used a imitation grasshopper fly and it was the ticket along the bank. Then I saw it, an Old Hickory Golden Bonefish ... cast my fly perfectly about a foot in front of him and he raced up and inhaled it. The fight was on! Went 25.5 inches and had a face only a mother could love.
Flyrods sure make a good backup plan at times.
