Default Last TN Fishing Trip

xxjuicexx and I headed out to our favorite sloppy froggin spot one last time before I move away. Check out this video of a bass nailing the frog right at the kayak as I set the rod down!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMaCvLbmSFQ

We had a great time. I predicted right before that wind shifted North around 6pm they would turn on and they sure did. We caught 3 each on the frog in about 30 minutes then they shut off like a light switch. Each of us got one around 20 inches, mine being my biggest bass this year.

I have lots of video of frog blowups from this Summer, I'll work on making a good video of them all and post it in here as well. It's been fun fishing with you Juice man and thanks for coaching me on staying calm for that hookset on the frog. For those that don't know, we would routinely go fishing here and I'd go 0 for 4 or 5 on setting the hook. I got so pissed last Summer I swore I'd never fish there again or with frogs. I kept with it and have improved my hookup ratio a lot. Last night had 4 blowups, landed 3.

Man, I wish the fish hit like they did right before the front moved in all the time, It was fun! I'm glad you finally had a good trip and that one fish was thick. I'm going to have to make a few more trips this year.

Nice. Haven't used frogs since I left Michigan. We used them up there because most the small lakes would get choked out with lily pads by summertime.

That looks like a pretty big body of water to have duck weed. Perfect set up for a frog bait. Dale Hollow and Guntersville are about the only two lakes I can think of that holds a lot of weeds ... and bass for that scenario. OH and JPP, not so much.
