Default Cumberland River 9/11/16

Before I give my report...we are all blessed to live in this great nation! No matter the situation, there's no other country I'd rather live in! Thanks to all our military men and women, our police, firefighters and emt's. I thank god everyday for this place, my freedoms, and love of the outdoors! Now....

Yesterday was on fire!!!! Had a great day!! Creature baits killed it!! Idk how many fish were caught, missed, lost but I do know I went through three bags of soft plastics in about 6hrs. Soooooo many little fish, only a couple of keeper sized fish and one giant drum! Had a great day!! Love those small mouths!!!

The stones River access is a good ramp. Shelby park is short of the water is down...and so is lock 2. So if you have a big boat you might drop off the end of the ramp.

It's a ways downstream but I use cleeces ferry a good bit there's some good fishing down that way, in addition to the others listed, there is one across the river from cleeces.

If you don't lock down, Heartland is the best option for decent security for your truck. Commodore Yacht Club is the absolute best option if you want to fish from downtown Nashville to Cheatham Dam. You can buy an annual membership at Commodore pretty cheap.

If your close to old hickory you may wanna look at Peeler Park for launching. It's right across from the mouth of the Stones. But I wouldn't launch there by myself. Haven't tried it but the current is usually pretty stout there
