Moving to MN
Guys it's been a fun ride but I have taken a position in Minnesota, which is pretty much a fisherman and hunter's paradise. That wasn't the driving force behind the career move but it certainly made the state attractive. It took a lot of thought, talking, and especially prayer to reach this decision.
I've enjoyed the arguments about catch and release fishing (I plan to have a steady diet of Smallmouth Bass up there), making fun of SAMBOLIE, and I've enjoyed meeting some of you and making friendships, and thanks TK for having such an awesome resource for Tennessee fisherman.
Now I have to start this whole learning process over in Minnesota, that's pronounced "mini soda." Mike - I do expect you to tell me all your secret Walleye spots. There really are about 10,000 lakes up there, most of them being public access, so I should have no problem finding some good fishing and duck hunting.
If any of you want the joy of fishing with me, let's plan it soon.

That is good and bad news all at once.
Good news: Although you ability to catch fish is lacking we will have a few more fish in the local waters.
Bad news: Those yankees now have to tolerate you.
I would like to go fishing with you before you leave but I do have a reputation to uphold and it could be tarnished if seen with a novice.
Seriously. Hate to see you go. I wish you happiness and success with your relocation. Do keep in touch.

Best wishes for your relocation. Enjoy the great fishing opportunities up there. I've always wanted to ice fish- give us a report now and then if you can. Safe travels.

Hate to see you leave but I know it's a good opportunity and what you have been looking for for a while. I just need you to figure out walleye when you get there and invite me up..... or just over night me fresh walleye all the time, is that legal?? ehh who cares. We will have to make a trip or two before you leave.

Congrats on the career move!
Do yourself a favor and check out the ice fishing. If youve never been, you wont be disapointed.

You'll be welcome any time man if you actually want to go all the way up there. Give me some time to figure out some good Walleye spots first though.

Not sure where you will be in MN but if anywhere near the Walker/Bemidji area you should have all you want for fishing opportunities. Buy a snow machine. Do the Eelpout festival on Leech Lake.
