Who says you need low vis line to catch fish? Is that the only one that Mike caught?

Looking good, Merv.

OH, WTF is the whistle around your neck for.

GEEZ, YOU REDNECKS!

Those are line clippers, needed to cut braid!

I carry a pistol instead of a rape whistle.

Lmao...

Nice smallie...

In the picture it looks like braid straight to the hook/lure. Leader or no leader?

Braid straight to the hook.

24 lb test Gliss (by Ardent), never broke off once no matter how many snags, just straightened hook back to shape.
Cut the line a few times when hooked a fish too deep or brought in a gar.

The small diameter of this line let me cast ALMOST as far as Mike, who's using 6 lb mono.

I should have brought a reel spooled with 18 lb Gliss, 2# mono thickness.

Your place of evening employment is losing its flavor to me.

I'll be back someday.

Default Gliss

I like gliss. I also like Nanofil but Gliss is cheaper.

I use it for trout as well with a leader.

Like you it has never broke for me either.

Great looking fish Merv. I had a lady call the other night while I was working at Academy call and ask for some type of alarm she could keep on her in case someone attacks her....... I recommend the Glock as a rape whistle. She did not like my recommendation, just wanted a whistle or something, good luck with that. What is the diameter on that gliss in 24lb, seems like it would be very visible. Obviously it worked well for you

When you fish with Bubba you need a whistle. For you yankees that is Bubba on the left.
