Default Panama City Beach-mid september

So im kicking around the idea of crashing my wife's "girl trip" to panama city beach in mid september. Im not a beach guy by nature. Is there any kind of decent fishing, fresh or salt that can be done there that time of year? I probably wont be taking anything of mine, so i wil, either guide out or rent or something.
Never done any kind of saltwater fishing. I have no interest in being strapped in for a 4 hour fight of any kind either. Lol....fast action would be more up my alley.
Any suggestions?
Thanks guys!

Look up http://reeladdictioncharters.net . Mickey and chris are awesome...

If you are looking for a kayak trip look up Pony Doland. https://m.facebook.com/TheFloatingFisherman/ . Cheap and knows his stuff.

I have fished with both and they are great and can put you on the fish....

LMAO! that may be!
one might think thats the ultimate goal is the catch the biggest, badest fish in the water....strapping into a seat, broom handle rod, 55 gallon drum size reel that is smoking from drag pulling, but i can sit here and tell you that honestly just does not appeal to me. LOL.
its a blast to fight a 30# striper for 5 minutes or so, but thats about it for my attention span...i want to re-rig and do it again on another fish. LOL.
Crazy, i know. lol.

Jack Crevelle may still be there.

No barrel drum reels here but they will make your spinning reel cry like a baby and blast a topwater.
