Default salt lick campground

Gonna be camping at salt lick next weekend. anyone got any tips on some stripers around that area going to try for striper and catfush would like to stay close to campground.

Be careful with your boat. That is one crazy part of the lake. Very shallow out from the beach, watch your graph. I don't fish catfish or stripers. Not much info.

If you have a throw net and can find the shad you can go that route, I fish up that way and have seen the striper guys getting shad in the morning and then trolling the channel through out the day.

ok thanks guys will be in a 16 foot flat bottom with a 7.5 on it so the shallows shouldn't be a big issue
