Default Bald Eagle

I fished Duck River for a couple hours yesterday afternoon. The fishing wasn't too good as I only caught 6 small smallies and 1 drum. I did hang
a big fish on a Berkley chigger quad craw that got off at the boat before seeing it. I did get a crappy pic of a bald eagle. It took off just before I snapped it.

The Duck was for many a year one of my favorite places to fish. I had nearly forgotten how beautiful it is. Thank-you for rekindling those memorys.

Nice pictures, good to see the eagles moving back in and reproducing.. When I was a teenager, the duck was the closest water I had to fish. (SpringHill) I never saw any eagles during that time, but some people reported they had seen one.

We've seen some bald eagles on old hickory. Two by the steam plant in the winter and one or two around the dam. May have been the same ones, but good to see them nonetheless

This area was closer to the TN river. While I see bald eagles regularly on the Duck, this was the first one I've seen on this part of the river.
