How's the tail-waters below the dam? I noticed they were pulling 2 generators for a few hours this morning.

Has it mostly been un-wadable around Happy Hollow?

I have a friend in town for a few days and he was asking how the trout fishing's been.

Check the link in another hour or two. Looks like light generation right now.

I went Wednesday afternoon and it was surprisingly low when they weren't generating for this time of the year. Give it a couple of hours after they stop generating and you should be in good shape.

I was fly fishing yesterday. They had zero generators from about noon to 7 pm.

I kept getting hits on a zebra midge but I could land them. The guy next to me had the same problem. Either our hook sets are weak or the trout just weren't committing.

It was still wonderful to be out there before the kayak swarms.
