Thumbs up Old Hickory Lake fishing report 2/29/2016

What a great day it turn out to be for Mr ED and me. We started at 7am and stop at 1pm. We caught 15 crappie and 15 bluegills all on crappie magnets. We had 8 keeper crappie and 11 big bluegills out of what we caught.I give it another week and the big black slabs will be in. My biggest crappie today was 14" female which I let go along with all the other fish we caught. The water temp got up to 53.7 at 1pm with lite winds. We didn't get any bass this time but maybe next time we go out. So till the next time we get out good luck and GOD BLESS.........Woody P.S. We were using purple/chartreuse and black/chartreuse crappie magnets.

2 to 3 feet and find the lay downs and beaver huts.

So, I'm working in Osceola, Arkansas now wishing I was at the house on the lake...catching slabs. only caught a few Sauger last year therefor I expect a solid walleye season even if I have to lay out of work for a month.
