Default Lake recommendation

Meeting with my son that lives in Chattanooga mid March for a day fishing. Either bass or crappie. Never fished Tims Ford or Woods. Will be fishing from a boat. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Are you going to be in Chattanooga? If so I would fish Chickamauga or Nickajack.

No, we are going to meet in the middle, that is why I'm looking at TF or Woods.

Woods is smaller, Tims ford is big and deep. I think woods wood be easier to fish for the first time without knowing much about it.

Between Tims and Woods I would always fish Woods. It's much easier to fish mainly because it's normally not as clear.
