Default Normandy today

Decided to head down and try my luck. It was tough fishing today. I managed to catch 15. With two of the being those brood fish they released. One went 23inches and the other 21inches and both males with a slight hookjaw.

Wish I had arrived earlier yesterday so I could have met you.

That walleye came from below the dam in Shelbyville.

I stopped at the Dement bridge before going to the dam. The guy with the picture was fishing for bass there. He said he caught about a 3 lb LM but the trout would not stay off his rooster tail. Said he had probably caught about 40 trout.

It is sad how the trout and walleye interfere with his bass fishing.

I left right before alpahawk did. And yes those dang walleye and trout seem to mess up that bass fishing.

Been making that drive for several years now. This time of year when ice...snow....get on Normandy Road...where you turn coming out of Shelbyville.....it can take days for it to get off those hills. I have slid down those hills many times thinking the roads would be clear. Should clear up this week but I will be waiting for flow to drop back down.

Regards
