Question Live Bait!

Who sells minnows in Hendersonville, Madison, Old Hickory area? I hate that Walker's closed and not just because of any inconvenience to me!

Flippers in Gallatin just before the 109 Bridge at the ramp has everything you need. Nice guys as with Poindexters as well.

I think the gas station across from Creekwood boat dock sells them, at least they used to. Expect to get exactly 12 per dozen, if nothing has changed they count them like silver dollars.

Default Old Hickory Minnows

I live in Old Hickory and I buy my minnows at either of the two gas stations around Shute Branch/.Landford Cove launch area. One is before getting there and one past the park area and past the bridge. Normally liberal with their counts.

If a shop can't give a onesie, twosie in addition for the sake of not handling them...They have lost my business. If not serving and satisfying the customer is their goal they will continue to loose business and I will make it a point to NOT go there for any need and I spend money when people treat me well at their store.

There's a gas station over off trinity lane between Ellington and 65, that has good prices and don't skimp. Then there's JB's market in rayon city on your way to the old hick dam. He's high and counts his minnows. He's a good guy but tight. He also sells shad guts, worms, crickets and bee larva (meal worms)...whatever you wanna call them.

That gas ststion seriously has live bait? Lol. I lived like a mile from there for 6 years. Passed it 100 times and just figured it was an old sign.

Thanks for the response gentlemen! I buy from both Flippers and Poindexters when I'm going that direction but I need a source for when I go below the dam. The people across from Creekwood usually make sure you'll get 11 for every 12 you pay for so I try to avoid them. I guess I need to open a bait shop in Hendersonville.
