Default Crappie bite

Put in the yak at east fork ramp sat mornin and fished from 10 to 3.Had a great day with 20 keepers, most in the 11" to 12" range, mostly black with 1 blacknose.I prolly need to invest in a net cause I lost 4 nice ones right at yak side.Water was fairlyclear,50 degrees, light wind.CM's on 2lb test with 1/16 jig head.Deadstickn submerged brush or laydowns in 13 to 16ft,most fish holdn right off bottom. Here's to 2016!!

It's the east fork of the stones that runs into Percy Priest.

Good deal! I should have fished there instead of Tims Sunday. I caught a few nice whites and some short crappie. Paddled way to much for those few of fish.

Hey Juice, do you recall water temp at tims? I think it's still too early for float and fly but may give it a try this Saturday if able to

You are welcome. BTW when I was out there the water was a foot or so above summer pool.

According to their website today, the lake is 3.5 ft below summer pool.....486.45.

They usually pull it down to 483.
