Default Dale Hollow Report

What an amazing fall we're having following up the best summer walleye fishing I've seen in years. The lake is healthier than I've seen in over a decade. October was my best to date with my boat seeing roughly 500 smallmouth. At one point we had 6 smallies on at once. since there was only three of us on the boat, we only managed to land 4 of them. Most of the fish are sporting prespawn girth no matter what the species. The lake is still hovering around 60 degrees so turn over is still a bit away. We're not far from Muskie season and winter walleyes. The trout have rebound well after the kill. The average size is around 18 inches but one or two 6 to 10 lbers aren't out of the questions.

Making me hungry.... and jealous! The only walleye I have ever caught was on accident while striped fishing with a threadfin shad. I may employ your services soon !

Yeah, we don't have a large population of white bass but what we do have are really good sized. They average around 18 inches and top out around 23.
