Finished Bartons Creek yesterday. The water was very clear, and bass were hanging in the shallows on wood. I was focusing on putting my five-year-old on panfish so wasn't targeting them.
Good luck!

It was a beautiful but tough day. Caught 4 only one keeper. All on rattle traps and square ills. Also caught two big skippies. Always think I have a monster when I hook a skippie. Very little bait activity anywhere on the surface.

Cold fronts send bait deeper.
