Went out with my daughter to break in her new birthday rod (she just turned 9) and "The Natural" had all the birthday mojo going on in her favor. She smoked me 7-3 and here are some highlights. Fish of the day was a bluegill she caught when she overcasted around a dock piling hooked up and brought the fish around the piling, over the dock and then in the boat. No keeper bass although 2 were close, but they were emaciated. everything was caught on junebug sliders off the shore shallow except one fish on a berkely storm swimbait on a deep ledge water temp 75 and we fished from 7-10 AM Drakes Creek area.
