Fishing has been pretty consistent for the last month on Priest. I'm trolling a spread with two in-line planers on each side and a downrigger on both sides out the back. I'm catching them about 50/50 between the planers and the downriggers. Boat is in 25-30 feet of water with baits between 12 ad 17ft.

Big fish of the summer came yesterday evening on one of the planers. Took about 100ft of line on the first run. Went 24lbs on the boga.

Some things just never get old!

Very nice fish! That's a very nice striper for priest. I'm hitting the water Friday night for some hybrids.

I'm fishing 3/4oz hair jigs with a 5 inch curly tail grub on all rods right now. Chartreuse is the only color I really mess with out there anymore. The bite has been turning on for me between 7 and 9am. Starts again abiut 4 and shuts down right after the sun drops below the horizon.

Water temps dropped a bit in the last couple weeks tothe low 80s so the fish have a whole lot more fight all the way to the boat and are a lot more willing to be released.

It did not go very well. We had tons of shad around the lights but did not catch fish. You could see the bigger fish on sonar but they would not hit our bait. We ended up bass fishing a stretch and I salvaged the night with 5 bass, a couple nice ones on a D-Bomb.
