Default Smallmouth bass

hammered them last week, free gps coordinates to this spot.
Average fish was 3-1/2 lbs with biggest being just over 5. 40-50 smallmouth a day per person. doesnt get any better than that.

blackdog is the winner. my 82 year old dad, my brother and myself. Great week of fishing, smallies, walleye and pike (even though we could care less about pike). Many, many fish in 4 to 5 lb range and it unbelievable how many walleye we catch considering we do not know how to catch them and do not try to catch them. I could easily catch over 100 walleye a day on Rainy. Will add some pics when I get time.

This is the view every evening. Worth every mile and beats most any lodge in my opinon. Love that we rarely see anyone.

My favorite bird of all, the loon. First morning, these 2 showed up and just circled my boat. For sure know you are in Canada when they really start talking, love listening to them.

My brother doing what we do for dad. He does not tie a lure or take a fish off. He casts and catches them.

My brother, the cook, he is a good one to.
