Cfr 6-6-15

I know I am late posting this lol. my buddy brian, my son and me hit the CFR for a night trip. we got there as the generators where turned off. and the fishing was slow the first few hrs. but it picked up a little and then tapered off again. we tried a few different things and found the fish and what they liked. for about 1 hr we caught some decent fish.

Brain had a few 13-15inch browns and some small walleye. he also landed two nice rainbows one was 16inches and the other was 18inches.

my son only caught two fish both rainbows one was 11inches the other was 14inches.

I caught like 15 small walleye it was kinda crazy all where like 10-12inches. I hooked a monster walleye I guess 26-30inches had it in the net 3 times and it jumped out. it ended up getting away. I caught 8 browns between 15-19inches. one brown was 22inches and one was 23inches 5lbs. over all we had a blast and caught some nice fish.

Thats sounds like a nice outing. We went a couple weeks ago and I caught probably 10-12 walleye all in that 10-12" range also. I caught one short brown and had another almost knock the rod out of my hand while working a jerk bait, I lost him on the first jump.
