River Report
I got out for a couple hours today to fish my river earlier and did pretty well. I caught 6 and probably missed another 6, a couple my fault most the fish just missing the frog. I lost a monster today on the frog, jumped once then dug into the grass and could not get him out. I was slightly sick then caught next cast caught my biggest of the day. I either caught them on a buzz bait or my black snag proof frog. I fished with the trout magnet for a few, caught some bluegill all about 7" twitching it around some trees in the water. I'm trying to work on casting and twitching instead of relying on the float.
I also fished Friday for a couple hours at another stretch of the river and caught 6 bass, 4 spots and a couple large mouth. I also caught some shell crackers and bluegill casting and twitching the Trout magnet, caught a nice crappie too. One spot came on the trout magnet while twitching, fun fight on the 4lb it was about 13" so nothing to big. I got the itch to catfish, need to get out one afternoon this week and see what I can find.
