Default J.Priest Bluegills

For the last week, Bluegill fishing has been great on JPP. Been catching anywhere from 30-50 at a time, various locations around the lake. Usually fish from 4-6 PM. All caught on 1/24 oz. Black/chart. jig, 4lb. test. Bluegills have been running larger this year, most of them caught are between 8-9 inches. After a poor crappie season, its fun to catch these larger gills. Finally took a pic. the other day, this one close to 9 inches.

Man, good deal. I had a crappy crappie season, missed the spawn. I need to get out and catch some of those bluegills. Congrats on the trips.
