Default Pickwick 05/13-14/2015

Fished Pickwick the last two days and while I caught fish it was tough. Had two nice largemouth on a Bison colored Trout Magnet using 2# test.....quite a fight with those two. Caught around 3 dozen Gills also on a Bison colored Trout Magnet. All were cookie cutter fish...at or a little over 8 inches....really good girth on the Gills. Couldn't find any Gills on bed...doesn't mean they aren't bedding I just couldn't find any being bank bound. The Gills...and bass were down in the rocks in about 8 feet of water.

Regards

LOL......yeah I run into quite a few down there. Can't stand them. It is a great spot to fish in fall but seems like that is when the snakes show up the most.
