Default Decent crappie on JPP

I have been catching so very many short fish. So decided to go north. Found a hole with the largest crappie I have caught at JPP. I am now completely convinced that the better fish are in the lower lake. The dam/north end. I have never caught a decent bg south of Weakley Bridge. Never fished for them any where else.
Will trade crappie spots for BG spots . ImageUploadedByTapatalk1431555281.271483.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1431555304.513169.jpg

These fish were 17 ft. deep around bamboo I put out last year. They still had eggs. The big girl was almost full. I kind of believe they were still spawning. I still caught about 20 small ones.

Off to Coy-Bedford. Hope the moss/algae is under control.

i would imagine it would hold up as good, if not better than other wood?
