A true fish tale
If I hadn't of been there, I probably wouldn't have believed it myself. Fishing below the Nickajack dam with a couple of friends for catfish. One of them caught a line while reeling in to check her bait. She decides to pull it in to get it out of the water,after about 3 minutes of pulling, the line finally "pulls" back,she let a good scream saying there's a fish on here. So her boyfriend takes over the pulling duties and before you know it this thing surfaced. Made a few runs after seeing the boat and made for a interesting and entertaining scene trying to get it in the boat,but all is well in the world now. About 150 yards of 30 pound test out of the water and it swam away probably a little happier. Although most people would have done things different,I figure it was deserving to let it go.
