Default JPP Sux Out Loud!!!

Fished Wednesday in Spring Creek. Watch the rocks. They got my skeg and stainless prop. It was a long ride back to the launch. 1 little bass, that's all.

Funny you mention the rocks, I hit one hard over by the cut-through from Jefferson Springs to Fate Sanders -- that first bend heading towards the dam is a minefield. Popped my 30 hp up to the mid-trim and put a huge gash in my skeg. First time I've ever hit anything at a decent speed. Not smart but at least my engine was unlocked.

As for the fish -- today was hot. Caught a 5-3 off a crankbait in 6 FW, a 2 1/2 off a senko, and the rest -- schoolers -- off a Pop-R in various shallow bays. Topwater bite should be really good over the next few weeks.

JPP is famous for prop damage and lower unit damage. The boat people say keeps them in business.
