Default Woods this weekend

The wife and I are going to Woods on Sunday, hoping to put some crappie in the boat. We went to KY about three weeks ago and had a great time, she likes long lining and gets into watching the HB for fish and cover. KY is a three hour shot where Woods is a 1.5 hour drive so we are going to give it a try. We've done good long lining on JJP but the boat traffic is nuts, hoping Woods will be less. OH has been off this year, have caught a few shooting deep docks but at this point I don't see the Honey shooting a jig under a pontoon boat......Any tips would be appreciated. Will post a report next week.

Happy fishing,
Ray

Don't expect the boat traffic to be much less at woods, especially if putting in at Morris Ferry. Couple weekends ago crappie bite was still fairly deep. Slow rolling jigs and minnows at 10+ ft. We couldn't put 10 keepers in the boat but I heard some were doing better.
