Default Hail, Tornados, Heavy Rain.... Wait Nothing

Be dammed I went fishing in spite of the dire weather predictions.

Fished from 6:30AM till 10AM.

Good day. Turning on and off all morning. In waves.

Friend hooked his finger deep. Pliers got it out. If you look close at the last picture he is fighting a fish with the hook still in. That's the kind of dedication I like.

Let's be careful out there.

Hooo boy that's a deep hook! It never hurts as bad as you think it will.. but then again, I haven't taken a treble to the eye ball yet. My worst hook ever was with a pretty darn big BH wooly bugger and fly fishing. Wind came across while I was in my back cast, and as I hauled it forward I drilled it right into the back of my head. My buddy counted to three but pulled it out when he got to "2", so it wasn't so bad.

Default Ouchie

Yeah. I've had two in the finger.
On required deadening. I knew I was in trouble when the intern at the doctors office asked what does the hook look like what shape is it?
No joke in the end I grab the hemostats and pulled it out of my own finger because she was pulling it perpendicular to my finger !!!!

Default Brook

I didn't measure but he was big for me.
We caught two nice brooks, the biggest came from 1 ft of water.
Brooks been rare this spring. Rainbows still hot but brown turning on.

White bass also up at the dam.... along with 100,000 skipjack.
