Default Old Hickory report

Great time with my dentist friend Dr Ken Robertson we had 15 total. I had one at 5lb Full of eggs and definitely the red worn-out tail. We only had about three keepers. Plus one Nice Crappie. Caught fish on lizard worm topwater and crankbaits. Water temp was a little cooler 57–61° and yes once again I will show off my Minnesota Vikings apparel.

Sounds like a pretty good day! Love that big slab. Isn't it great being able to fish on Fridays?

Dakota, was that in Drake's creek again? I too was out on Friday. The water temp was cooler. I managed a 3 lb. largemouth and 5 smaller ones. Kind of a slow day. Lots of boats out prefishing for the ABA tournament today. I talked to several of them on the water and I was impress that all of them were very nice and consider of my fishing area.

Titan27 yes if it works out I do love getting out on Fridays for sure. Not cooped up in a meeting etc. This time of year I'm not a Saturday guy because of so much boat traffic.

Went back to old hickory on Sunday with my friend Rick. Slower but we still managed 8. Rick caught several on his rattle trap but no size. I had 2 keepers. One on tn rig one on topwater.
