Are you heading to Dover? Or just picked Dover for a scenic drive.

If you are looking for a nice scenic drive head out Natchez Trace Parkway.

From Nashville Clarksville to Dover road/us79 is fastest.

Scenic is Dickson to Erin then you have 3 choices.

a. hwy 233 to Carlise to hwy 49 to Dover following and passing several
wildlife management areas like Cross creek.

b. Erin to Cumberland city and take the ferry across to 233 to hwy 46 to Dover.

c. Or the Boring route Erin to Clarksville to Dover following 79.

A. Is really a nice drive but winding.

Maybe some day others will learn how to use a computer. They are like a DVR. They record what we put in the forum. The user then has the option to skip what they do not like to read or watch.
Look at Google maps. There is fishing water in Dover and on the way there. How do you know if commdd was or wasn't planning a fishing route?
I caught well over 100 white bass on each of several trips this year. Same with yellows also.
I would have thought of you as being too old to play kids ball.

Just kidding of course. You must be a good father.

He would be better off going to Hwy 70 from Dickson and going west on 70. Turkey Creek or Lucas Harbor is just ahead.

Yeah great water but not the question.

Dover =Barkley area
Turkey Creek = Ky lake.

I used to stay at the Turkey Creek camp site before floods ran off the owners not sure what is there now but really liked it and Masons area.
