Default Amazing how much changes in two weeks

Two weeks ago on Priest: Winter pool, clear water, mild winds, air temps in low 70's, some cloud cover, moderate fishing pressure, zero non-fishing boats, damn close to resembling an above average fishery.

Today on Priest: Water rising, lots of mud/debris, winds 10+, air temps around 80, not a cloud in the sky, a boat strategically positioned on every point/hump/channel swing/laydown, jet skis/wakeboarders/houseboats/cigarette boat (above fate sanders!), not even close to resembling the local pond behind my house where I'm guaranteed at least one keeper.

Bummer day, homies. But perhaps deserving considering I was aware of at least half of the aforementioned elements prior to leaving my house.

Yep, Jimmy and I fished up around the dam and it was full of boats and jet skis. Still not a bad day on the water.

I feel your pain. I have a rule....never fish on weekends....and for sure never fish Williamsport on a weekend. Had trouble even finding parking spot....much less place to do a little bank fishing today. Going to storm all week....means I will have plenty of room......LOL.

I'm with you Alpha. I'm going to try and hit up the lake and river a couple times this week with the hopes that less people will be on the water with the weather.

Lots of boat traffic this weekend. There was wake everywhere when we were trying to run.

We had a great day fishing striper/hybrids near the dam.
Caught 13, biggest was 11
2 lbs.
Right at noon, had a quadruple going. Landed all of them!
