I thought I would get out before the rain gets here and try out some new tackle. The water temp was around 50.1 and you can see down to about 4' and it's partly cloudy. The sun is very bright which makes for a slow day. The first bait I tried was a Sebile jointed rubber fish that comes in a pack of three and cost $15.99 but is on sale for $5.99 at Cabela's. The pack comes with one already rigged but I rigged it with the hook throw the side instead of in the bottom and out the back. The way I rigged it makes look like a dyeing shad and looks and works great. The other bait is by Strike King and it's called the naked rage blade and the color was green pumpkin and after six cast I landed a nice LM bass around 2 1/2 pounds which made my day. I got to fish about two hours before the wind pick up and made me come in so till my next time out good luck and GOD BLESS..............WOODY
