Default weekend bass report

I haven't posted in awhile....mostly because I can't catch a fish on Priest to save my life....and I thought I would go back to my normal haunts....

Saturday it was chilly and I fished a creek that dumps into the Cumberland for about six hours. After a couple hours of realizing that nothing would touch a moving bait I caught 9 fat little spotted bass tossing half a finesse worm into brush piles.

Sunday I went to Center Hill and the wind was a bear. A strong fart will push my little jon boat as far as I can cast. The wind was so bad I had to tie off to boulders on bluff walls. I caught three smallmouth from 16" to 19" and one largemouth that was 17" with using minnows. All of them were fat and healthy. I didn't see any activity shallow.

Hopefully the cold front coming this weekend won't be too drastic.

Good report, and way to go on the adapting to the conditions.
Sound like a good day.
Were you throwing the finesse weightless?

Glad to see you on the water and catching. Welcome back Mike, looking forward to seeing more reports. I want to fish more creeks and smaller waters this year.
