Default JPP is super hot right now...

...and busy. Yesterday was Memorial Day-esque. But man, are they biting. Around Pooles Knob caught a bunch of bass, hybrid, and whites on squarebill and fluke/scrounger in 5-10 feet. And that huge mud flat on the east side of Weakley right under the bridge gave up a 3-5 on a 1/2 ounce spinnerbait off a submerged log. Saw a lot of guys still fishing deep/channel/bluffs. All told, seven hours, close to 20 fish, best five LM -- it's Percy -- so around 10 lbs.

Great to hear it. I had a really good day on Priest yesterday and have to agree 100%. Fish are full and healthy and ready to cooperate.
Thanks for the report.

This weekend everybody seemed to be fishing pretty deep, but I was catching them super shallow! That flat you are talking about produced a 3.5 pounder for me Sunday. Great report by the way!

Hoppy best 5 on Wednesday was right at 27 lbs. He had 2 over 7. What I gathered was bandit 200 so they were not deep. When I have fished for bass in the last 2 weeks all I have caught have been 5 feet or less and have been catching them almost at will, everywhere on the lake. Yesterday some were in inches of water.

If it is true, that is very impressive on any lake. On Priest it's a fairy tale come true.

Thanks Jimmy.

If I don't go to my "private" lake for crappie I will head over to Percy this weekend.

That sounds even better. I only have nights to fish right now and at that temp the fish aren't as likely to pull way back out over night.

Nice reply. If it is true? go by fate sander and talk to hoppy or look at his facebook page for pics.

My favorite fishermen are the ones that because they have never been able to catch what someone else does or have never seen someone catch them, then no one else can.

Dude, chill out. I meant no disrespect with my post. I just know sometimes things coming from 2nd hand sources can be rumors. I know exactly who John Hopkins Jr. is and I frequent Fate Sanders all the time. And you are right...I couldn't catch a fish if my life depended on it, but I have fun.

And for the record, I just found the FB page and saw the pic...so I guess it's true. Awesome bag of fish.
