Default OH Crappie 3/21/15

Fished from 9:00-12:00 with a buddy from college. The baitfish have finally shown up. Caught 10 keepers and around 10-15 short ones. Fished in 25-27 fow with a combination of minnows/grubs/grub tipped minnows. Used black grubs because the water was still stained.

Went back out from 3:30-6:30. Caught 14 keepers and probably 25 small ones. Another guy gave me one keeper when he left. He tried to throw it back but it wouldn't swim. Same depth and presentation as the morning except most fish were suspended about 3 feet off the bottom.

Didn't catch many non-keepers last year and catching a lot right now. Guess that's a good thing.

The wife and I fished Priest this morning. We put in at Seven Points and ran to a few brushpiles we know. At daylight we were catching them in 9-20ft. As the morning went on we were catching them in the 9-11ft range. We ended up with 8 nice keepers but caught maybe 25 non keepers.
We had a ball catching just about everything that swims this morning and even watching a Loon try to swallow a gizzard shad over half the size as he was. (juvenile Loon)

Please don't take the Boat underwater as the slicks it creates messes up fishing for weeks.
