Default Need more Info.... :)

I fished Sunday just pass Drakes Creek looking for anything near shore and found some small Crappie in brush 5 deep fishing in about 9 foot.

Small all of them but hope to see things get better... 10:00am 47 deg
by 1:00 most areas was 51 with main channel being 48 as I fished the Bluffs a little water was stained green not coffee cream .

You need to give us more info for help but the next 3 weeks just drop small
crappie jigs/minnows in brush and you will find fish on Old Hickory!

Water was still pretty cold upriver above 109 in the main lake. Lots of floating debris and even some trees on Saturday/Sunday. Be careful til all that clears out. If we get much more rain forcing Center Hill, Dale and Cordell to keep generating it could be like it was in 2013. That was the year I believe the water temps was in the 70's still in September for some parts of the lake.

Pick a large feeder creek like Drakes, Station Camp and etc. I am just naming names although those fish well. After you pick one, stay in it and learn it. Once you learn how to fish it and as you pick up patterns they will translate throughout the lake. Save your gas and really learn one creek. Then as patterns happen during the year in the creek you can apply across the lake. Log info as it applies for future reference.

Good luck.
