Come on Rain!!
I hate to say that but I am ready for some warmer water temps. After the water clears up next week it should be GAME ON !!
I was in Drake's Creek yesterday. The very back of the creek was at 50 and off colored. The main part of the creek was 48 and the water clarity wasn't too bad. It was fishable, just didn't catch anything.

With this warm rain the water temps should be climbing quickly.

Yessir!! I have access to a 4-5 acre pond in Franklin that has lots of 3-4 pound fish in it, it's a blast to fish. Haven't fished it since early Fall and I'm ready for that place to just be on fire. I bet in such a small body of water those temps are going to be near or maybe above 50 by Saturday.

This is what I am thinking for the weekend trip to G-ville. Last year it rained really heavy for about 3 days straight and the water down there was not high or muddy. Warm rain should push some big fish shallow, I hope.

I am just ready for warm....it could be temps, rain or wind. The 15-20 degree fishing trips have officially gotten old this winter.

Juice, you are headed to G'ville this weekend, I am headed to Chicamauga on the 26th.
Let's see who catches the biggest fish. I'm sure it'll be me! I'm figgering to catch an 8 lb'er.......bass that is. You can have the 9 lb drum.
My fishing calendar says you'll have a four star day on Sat and a two star day on Sunday.
My days will be three stars both days (26/27th).
Good luck to you!

That's because G'ville is a part of the Tennessee River. The muddy water washes right on through as opposed to lakes.

Shhh....... ya don't want those Priest lovers who hate our water shed to invade when things just get going.
Yeah I was just thinking that all the water should warm up fast with warm rain.

Fishing partner of mine fished Wilson lake today. They caught some fish today said the temps in the cove they caught all their fish in was 57.8 with all the rain. Had a nice smallmouth and a LM that went 3.5. I'm getting excited about this weekend on G-ville. Got the first days strategy planned, hope it works out.

I'm going to say this is not accurate, what do you all think? I just checked now at 8:15am and they say the water temp is 45 degrees.

I would say accurate. That temp comes from up at the dam. I fished yesterday, my legs went numb wading with waders the water was so cold yet.
